Make-up causes acne.
Although
most of today's commonly used make-up and skin care products are
non-comedogenic (non-acne forming), there are definitely ingredients
that you need to stay away from. Look for products with labels
that include the terms " non-comedogenic", "oil-free"
(water-based) and "hypoallergenic" (non-allergy causing
with no added fragrances). Some ingredients to avoid in your
skin care products include alcohol, isopropyl myristate, lanolin,
sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate, propylene glycol,
mineral oil and parabens. Find out more about topical
skin care acne treatments.
