Acne can very widely in it's severity, can be limited to an area of the body (back acne), and can be closely linked to other condtions (such as acne rosacea).  Acne Vulgaris is the most common form of acne and usually includes several types of lesions: blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, nodules and cysts.
