Cysts

Cystic (or nodulocystic) acne is a severe form of acne that is most commonly found on the face, chest and back.  Cystic acne is identified by many inflamed and uninflamed nodules.  Cystic acne is more common in males and is frequently accompanied by atrophic and hyertrophic acne scars.
