Proactiv Acne Solution

The Proactiv Solution is one of the most widely known and used over the counter acne treatments.  The Proactiv acne treatment program relies on the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide.  Benzoyl peroxide is typically used in solutions ranging between 2.5% (all over treatments) and 10% (spot treatments).  The Proactiv acne treatment program has achieved success in treating mild to moderate non-inflammatory acne.    The Proactiv solution does not contain any new miracle drugs, but rather it relies on a solution that uses 2.5% benzoyl peroxide for the active ingredient.

Most that use the Proactiv acne treatment program like the ease and convenience of the program.   The Proactiv acne solution combines a cleanser, toner and lotion into one easy to use system. 

For those with severe or imflammatory acne, an alternative acne treatment may be required.  For those that have tried and failed with a benzoyl peroxide solution there are other treatment options such as prescription medications and laser treatments.
